I found it to be really interesting and it had a lot more information than I was expecting. The first half of the exhibit is a history of Eithopia,(where the remains were found)and the second half is all about pre-human ancestors and comparing them with modern humans and chimpanzees. In the first half I was surprised by all the empires than were built around the same time as the Romans and complex societies and religions that the people possessed. Also I surprised that origin of Rastifarianism came from people worshiping the leader of Ethiopia,(Haile Selassie) who was formerly known as the Ras Tafari.
It was really a shame that they did not allow photography but I found this piece of information near the end of the exhibit to be amazing.
After the Lucy exhibit, my niece wanted to check out some other things, you'll see.
